Bi-directional MS Teams Integration
New
You can now integrate Squadcast and MS Teams to collaborate efficiently with your team. You can easily Acknowledge, Resolve and Reassign the incidents from within the MS Teams channel.

Alert Source Integration: Heroku
New
We just released an alert source integration with Heroku. You can now bring in alerts from Heroku into Squadcast.

Improvement: Searching through Automation Rules
Improvement
You can now search through all the automation rules! (Tagging, Routing, De-duplication, & Suppression)
You will notice a Search option on the left-top of the rules modal. You can type in a word you recall from the rule description or the rule itself. Any matching result will yield the narrowed-down set of rules.
Alert Source Integration: GitLab

We just released an alert source integration with GitLab. You can now bring in alerts from GitLab into Squadcast.

You can now trace each incident notification to a source in Squadcast! You can also bypass Do Not Disturb (DND) for SMS and Phone Call Notifications.

Introducing RBAC & Organization Permissions
New
We have introduced Organization Level Permissions and a new way to organize users into Teams and attach roles to users for specific permissions within the team, with our RBAC release!
With this feature, there’s now enhanced capabilities around access control for allowing special permissions to specific users within our platform.
With custom user roles, you can now control how your users access the platform’s features, data, and grant authority as required.

[Reminder] Action Required: OTP Verification

We are enforcing Phone Number verification in Squadcast for all users to comply with local laws, prevent abuse/spam, and improve the deliverability of SMS & Calls.
To continue getting SMS & Calls without any interruption, please go to your Profile Section in Squadcast and verify your Phone Number with a One Time Password (OTP) before August 8, 2021.

Export incidents in JSON format
Improvement
You can now export your incidents not only in CSV format, but also in JSON format from the Incident List page. Apply filters of your choice and JSON-export it!

Alert Source Integration: Errorception
New
We just released an alert source integration with Errorception. You can now bring in alerts from Errorception into Squadcast.

Enhancement: Slack Integration

We've made some newer enhancements to our Slack Extension to improve your Incident Management experience.

You can now Reassign Incidents directly from Slack.

When an incident gets auto-resolved by the integrated alert source, the same is indicated in Slack.

The following new features, improvements, and fixed issues were made to SolarWinds Incident Response during March.
Suppression Rules: Added Discard Function
New
We have just added the Discard function that can be used in conjunction with Suppression Rules to avoid triggering non-critical incidents and thus, prevent hitting Incident Rate Limits.
Discarded events do not get counted against the allowed Incident Rate Limits.
Mobile App Update - v2.10.73
Improvement
We’ve made some major fixes to improve the reliability of our mobile app. Please update the app to continue using it without any issues.
UI Enhancements: Slack Integration
Improvement
In addition to the incident notification that Squadcast sends to Slack, you will now see a colored bar on the left indicating the state of the incident for quicker context.
Purple -> New incident triggered
Yellow -> Incident acknowledged
Green -> Incident resolved
Incident ID to replace Incident Number
Deprecated
In an effort to make our platform more reliable, we have identified a few optimization areas, one of them being the deprecation of Incident Number.
Going forward, Incident ID will be the unique identifier instead of Incident Number. To know where to find the Incident ID and how to use it, check out our Incident Details Documentation.

To open an incident using Incident ID, you can simply type in the below URL and replace {incidentID} with the actual ID. https://app.squadcast.com/incident/{incidentID}

You can use the
message: command in the Global Search bar to look for incidents. -
You can use Incident ID as a parameter to GET Incidents using our Public API.
Alert Source Integration: LibreNMS

We just released an alert source integration with LibreNMS. You can now bring in alerts from LibreNMS into Squadcast.

Filter by Tags & search for Custom Tags
Improvement
We made a few changes to the our Filter by Tags UI in our Incident List page to make the experience smoother.
Pro-tip: You can search for custom Keys and Values for each Tag.

Users @ mentioned in the note will receive email and push notifications with a brief of the note.
