This release includes a change to clean up log files on WPM Player machines. After installation of this release, you could encounter the following known issue if you do not take the steps noted below to resolve it.
Known issue
An initial cleanup of old log files may temporarily impact performance of the WPM Player. In some cases, it is possible that the old log file cleanup rotation left behind thousands, or in rare cases, millions of files. Deletion of those files may take significant time and consume resources on the WPM Player machine. Temporary performance impacts due to cleanup of log files on WPM Player machines
Resolution: Before upgrading to WPM 2025.1.1, check the file count and delete logs manually from the folder located at C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Logs\SEUM\Audit.
