SQL Sentry monitors your SQL Server, SSAS, VMware, Windows & Hyper-V, Azure Synapse SQL Pool, Azure SQL database, AWS RDS, and Analytics Platform system targets performance. With key features such as Performance Analysis, Event Calendar, Plan Explorer, Actions and Alerts, and SQL Sentry Portal, you can monitor and optimize your server targets.

Performance Analysis
Each target type monitored with SQL Sentry has a Performance Analysis Dashboard with features specific to the target type. Performance Analysis allows you to gather and display detailed information about your monitored servers within your environment. Performance analysis provides ease of access through a variety of tabs. The Dashboard provides a graphical representation of the monitored server activity through a variety of graphs. Color coded graphs distinguish between what's used by the instance versus any other processes.
Event Calendar
Review events for SQL Server, Windows, SSAS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Data Pool, and APS target types on the SQL Sentry Event Calendar. The Event Calendar displays historical and future event data to present an accurate visual representation of your database's schedule. Visual indicators highlight overlapping active event instances, event status, and duration.

Configure SQL Sentry Conditions and Actions
SQL Sentry employs a comprehensive alerting and response system. The alerting and response system uses the concept of Conditions and Actions. Conditions describe the various states of monitored objects. SQL Sentry allows you to define criteria for when Conditions are met using various Settings like Condition Settings. As a response to Conditions taking place, Actions can be configured. You can refine how often Actions are carried out using Response Rulesets. To control the time frame of when an Action is processed you may apply a Window directly to any configured Action.
Monitor your databases on SQL Sentry Portal
SQL Sentry Portal is a browser-based option for accessing your SQL Sentry environment data that uses your existing SQL Sentrydatabase. Review Performance Analysis data for SQL Server (including Amazon RDS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Azure SQL Database, Windows, and VMware targets.
