Give NCM write access to a network share
To set up the config archive, store firmware images, or save NCM job results to a network share, you must specify credentials to give NCM write access to the network share.
If you use a domain account for the network share directory, NCM does not support using smart cards, tokens, or any other form of two-factor or multi-factor authentication.
- Click Settings > All Settings.
- Under Product Specific Settings, click NCM Settings.
- Under Advanced, click Advanced Settings.
- Under Network Share Settings, select Use Custom Credentials to Give NCM Writer Access.
-
Enter the credentials, and click Validate Credentials.
If the validation fails, verify that the NCM-related account has Windows permissions for the network storage.
