Give NCM write access to a non-default location or a network share
You must specify credentials to give NCM write access to desired location if you want to:
-
Change the default location of the config archive.
-
Change the default location for saving NCM job results.
-
Change the default location or file name for exported configs.
-
Specify the location to store firmware images.
If you use a domain account for a network share directory, NCM does not support using smart cards, tokens, or any other form of two-factor or multi-factor authentication.
- Click Settings > All Settings.
- Under Product Specific Settings, click NCM Settings.
- Under Advanced, click Advanced Settings.
- Under Network Share Settings, select Use Custom Credentials to Give NCM Writer Access.
-
If you want to enter different credentials for each polling engine, select Specify credentials per each polling engine.
The dialog includes credential fields for each polling engine.
-
Enter the credentials, and click Validate Credentials.
If the validation fails, verify that the NCM-related account has Windows permissions for the network storage.
