Specify ETS for the Web settings

You can specify the following settings for ETS for the Web:

  • Tool-specific settings: Define the settings for each tool.

  • Personal settings: Set SNMP details for accessing devices, and the default form of presenting data in Engineer's Toolset for the Web tools for your user account.

  • SNMP credentials: Define and manage the SNMP credentials associated with your user account. These credentials are specific for use in Engineer's Toolset for the Web tools and do not affect any other credentials used in SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted.

  • Global settings: Define settings that apply to all ETS for the Web users, such as the time a session can be inactive before it is terminated.

  • Connection profiles: A global connection profile specifies the information that ETS for the Web needs to connect to a node, such as credentials and ports. Each global connection profile can be applied to multiple nodes.

  • Toolset user licenses: Specify which users can access to ETS for the Web tools.
