New features and improvements in SAM

Server & Application Monitor 2024.2.1 includes the new features in version 2024.2.1 of the SolarWinds Platform. For more information, see the SolarWinds Platform 2024.2.1 Release Notes.

  • Improved performance when SAM Application Templates are assigned to Groups

  • In ODBC probe, added ability to use Custom Properties in templates, allowing for automated monitoring

  • Added ability to assign SAM template to dynamic group, where not all entities are monitored as a node
