AI Settings

The AI Settings page provides you with control over AI features, ensuring transparency and compliance with data usage policies. In SolarWinds Observability SaaS, you can now select which AI feature you do or do not want to use. To access the page, click Settings in the left pane > AI.

The page can be accessed by all organization roles, but only users with an owner or an admin role can modify the AI settings.

General AI Consent

To use the AI features, select I agree to use AI features in SolarWinds Observability.

AI Features

The AI features available in SolarWinds Observability are listed under AI Features on the AI Settings page. Click the feature name to review details about the individual features. Feature classification provides insight on whether the AI feature is considered traditional AI or large language model-based (LLM) AI.

The following AI features are currently available in SolarWinds Observability SaaS:

• Anomaly Detection: Identifies recurring patterns and trends, improving anomaly detection and trend analysis.

• AI Query Assist: Enhances database observability by leveraging LLMs to analyze and optimize queries.

• Capacity Planning: Enhances time-series monitoring by analyzing historical trends to predict future values with accuracy.

• Root Cause Assist: Helps identify correlated events that occur around the same time as a main error, providing insights into potential root causes.

To enable or disable individual features, click the toggle in the Enabled column. When you disable the feature, a warning is displayed with details about the impact. All data associated with the feature are removed as well.
