Legacy web clients have been removed

Java-based Serv-U web client modules FTP Voyager JV and Web Client Pro have been removed from Serv-U as of version 15.5.2. They have been replaced by the Serv-U Client.

Security Password Strength Policy was updated

The Security Password Strength Policy for file share passwords was updated to enhance protection and align with industry best policies.

The Serv-U start-up log now displays OS version numbers exactly as shown by Windows tools such as winver. However, OS product names may be generalized.
N/A The font size issue in the domain setup wizard of embedded browsers has been adjusted so that the text now fits within the bounds of the panel.

Known issues

Users may encounter a '404 not found' error upon logging into Serv-U after upgrading to version 15.5.2

After upgrading to Serv-U 15.5.2 and attempting to log in, users may encounter a '404 not found error' as a result of the Default Web Client at the domain/user level having been set to the deprecated (legacy) web client.
