Attention Serv-U customers
If you are upgrading to Serv-U 15.5.2 from a previous version of Serv-U, see the Known issues section below before upgrading. If you are performing a fresh installation, you can ignore this issue.
New features and improvements in Serv-U
Legacy web clients have been removed
Java-based Serv-U web client modules FTP Voyager JV and Web Client Pro have been removed from Serv-U as of version 15.5.2. They have been replaced by the Serv-U Client.
Security Password Strength Policy was updated
The Security Password Strength Policy for file share passwords was updated to enhance protection and to align with industry best policies.

Known issues

Users may encounter a '404 not found' error upon logging into Serv-U after upgrading to version 15.5.2
After upgrading to Serv-U 15.5.2 and attempting to log in, users may encounter a '404 not found' error as a result of the Default Web Client at the domain/user level having been set to the deprecated (legacy) web client.

This version of Serv-U no longer supports the following platforms and features.
Web client modules
Java-based Serv-U web client modules FTP Voyager JV and Web Client Pro will be discontinued in an upcoming release. However, these modules are still available, together with the new Serv-U web client to support a migration path.
