Documentation forNetFlow Traffic Analyzer
Analyzing network traffic and bandwidth is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Advanced edition. NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) is also available in a standalone module.

NetFlow Endpoints Summary view

This view provides the insight into the traffic associated with endpoints monitored in NTA.

To display traffic details related to a specified endpoint, consult the NetFlow Endpoint View.

Access the Endpoints Summary View

  1. Click My Dashboards > NetFlow > Endpoints.
  2. This view displays traffic details about the endpoints monitored by NTA.
  3. Click an endpoint in the Top XX Endpoints widget to filter the Endpoints Summary view by the selected endpoint.
  4. This view displays the traffic for the selected endpoint and other endpoints engaged in conversations with the selected endpoint.

Default widgets

The following widgets are available by default in the NetFlow Endpoints Summary view:

Customize views

You can add or remove widgets on your views, change the time period, and change the flow direction settings shown by widgets on the view:

  • Click Customize Page to add widgets not present in the default view. For more information, see Edit views.
  • Click the arrow under the view title designating the time period applied to all default view widgets to change the time period. For more details, see Edit time settings for NTA views.
  • If you are viewing endpoint data at the interface level, you also have the option to designate the direction of the selected endpoint traffic over the interface you are monitoring. For more information, see Edit flow direction in NTA views.

Widgets added to a custom view may not be subject to the time period and flow direction controls.

Save the current view as a PDF file.
