These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in Web Performance Monitor 2023.2. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements
WPM 2023.2 includes SolarWinds Platform updates, as described in the SolarWinds Platform 2023.2 Release Notes.

Fixes
WPM 2023.2 includes SolarWinds Platform fixes, as described in the SolarWinds Platform 2023.2 Release Notes.
WPM 2023.2 fixes the following issues.

In future releases, the rest of WPM Player configuration, such as domain accounts or workers configuration, will also be migrated. |

An updated Mac OS-based recorder is planned for a future release. Until this update is implemented, you can record transactions using a Windows-based recorder if you need to take advantage of any of the improvements provided but the Chromium and Electron updates. |

Future releases may not support the ability to edit recordings or play transactions that originate in the Deprecated WPM Recorder. Use the latest Web Transaction Recorder to create recordings, instead. To deploy a new recorder, see the WPM Getting Started Guide. |
