Monitoring network performance is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Essentials edition. Network Performance Monitor (NPM) is also available in a standalone module.

Universal Device Poller - Browse MIBs

If you want to search directly for an OID, MIB value, or table, click Search MIBs in the top right. See Universal Device Poller - Search MIB Tree.

  1. Expand the MIB tree, and navigate to the MIB value or table you want to poll.
  2. Select the MIB value or table.
  3. In the Select a device area, use the filters to find a device against which you want to test the UnDP.
  4. Select the device, and click Test.
  5. If you have chosen to poll a table, select a column in the selected table to poll, and click OK.

    6. You can also select the table column directly when you are browsing the MIB tree. Expand the table and navigate to the column.

    MIB value pollers return the single resulting value for the selected node.

    MIB table pollers return a one-column table, where RowID values define table rows returning Test Results in the polled column for the selected node.

  6. When you have tested your poller and confirmed that it returns the values you want, click Select to continue.
