Universal Device Poller - Search MIB Tree

  1. Select a search criteria in the Search By list, enter a search string, and click Search.

    Search Description

    OID

    Enter numbers representing successive levels in the MIB tree, divided by a fullstop.

    Example: 1.3.6.1.2

    As you enter the numbers, details describing your location in the MIB database actively update below the Search field until you provide the full OID of the MIB value or table you want to poll.

    Name

    Searches the MIB tree for all MIB values or tables with MIB names containing the provided string.

    Type the search string in the Search field, and then click Search.

    Description

    Searches the MIB tree for all MIB values or tables that meet either of the following conditions:

    1. The provided string is contained in the MIB tree location of the MIB value or table. To perform this search, type the search string in the Search MIBs field, and then click Search.
    2. The provided string is contained within the OID Details of the MIB value or table. To perform this search, type the search string in the Search field, and then click Search.

  2. In the search results, select the OID for the MIB value or table you want to poll, and click Select.
