Monitoring network performance is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Essentials edition. Network Performance Monitor (NPM) is also available in a standalone module.

List of Servers

The List of Servers widget displays all blade servers detected in a UCS chassis, along with the following information:

  • Blade name
  • Current Response Time of the listed blade
  • Currently measured Percent Loss of the listed blade
  • Currently reported operational status of the listed blade

This widget appears on the Chassis Details page, by default.

Available actions

  • Click the Name button to toggle the alphabetic sorting of servers between ascending and descending.
  • To search for blades by name, enter text in the Search field and click Enter.
  • Click a blade to open its Node Details page.

    If a blade is not yet being monitored in the SolarWinds Platform, a prompt asks if you want to manage the blade. Click OK to Add Node wizard, where the IP address of the blade will be auto-filled.

  • Click Edit to change the title or subtitle of the widget.
