Add non-Platform devices to monitor with ETS for the Web

You can use ETS for the Web to monitor the devices that you have discovered and added to the SolarWinds Platform.

You can also add other devices from Engineer's Toolset for the Web tools. To monitor nodes not available in the SolarWinds Platform:

  1. Open the CPU Monitor tool, the Interface Monitor tool, the Memory Monitor tool, or the Response Time Monitor tool.

  2. Click Add Non-Platform Device.

  3. Enter the IP address or host name of the device that you want to monitor.

  4. Select the credentials set.

    If you do not have any credentials defined in ETS for the Web, click Manage Credentials. Add the credentials (see Manage SNMP credentials). Then return to the Add Non-Platform Device dialog, click Refresh Credential List, and select the new credentials.

  5. Click Add Device to add the device to the Selected Objects area.
