Known issues

Probe timeout

If a timeout occurs, it is possible for Probe to contain duplicate action result.

Resolution or Workaround: There is no workaround at the moment. SolarWinds is working on resolving this issue in a future version.

WPM Reports

WPM Reports based on WPM Entities, which have aggregated data (detail, hourly and daily), does not use Weight parameter properly.

Resolution or Workaround: There is no workaround at the moment. SolarWinds is working on resolving this issue in a future version.

WPM Player unable to playback a recording

In some situations, WPM Player displays an error stating, "TypeError: can only concatenate str (not "float") to str," and is unable to playback a recording as a result of a duplicate started_date_time request.

If you applied the buddy drop for this issue, SolarWinds recommends waiting to upgrade until WPM 2023.4.1 is released, as WPM 2023.4 is incompatible with the buddy drop.

Resolution or Workaround: There is no workaround at the moment. SolarWinds is working on resolving this issue in a future version.

403 Forbidden error caused by

When Probe is passing extra process switches to WPM Browser, it adds an apostrophe sign at the beginning and end of the overridden user agent value, resulting in a 403 Forbidden error instead of loading the page.

Resolution or Workaround: There is no workaround at the moment. SolarWinds is working on resolving this issue in a future version.

Navigation opens in new tab

Probe can sometimes return negative values for click actions, which triggers navigation in new tab.

Resolution or Workaround: There is no workaround at the moment. SolarWinds is working on resolving this issue in a future version.

Error occurs when saving user accounts in Domain Configuration tool

When saving user accounts in the Domain Configuration Tool an error may occur stating, "Error occurred while making an API call". The error is more likely to happen when a large number of accounts is being configured or when inter-process communication is slow. The configuration may be successfully saved, even if the error is displayed.

Resolution or Workaround: There is no workaround at the moment. SolarWinds is working on resolving this issue in a future version.

Unable to edit recordings

When trying to run the deprecated recorder 2023.3, or older, on a remote location an error occurs, stating you must be a WPM administrator to edit recordings from the Orion server.

Resolution or Workaround:

Download the deprecated recorder from Orion Server with URL: https://<ORION_SERVER_HOSTNAME_OR_IP>/Orion/SEUM/Admin/InstallerDownloader.ashx?installerType=RecorderDeprecated and install it manually.

Import WPM and SRM alerts fail

Import WPM and SRM alerts fail when upgrading.

Resolution or Workaround: There is no workaround at the moment. SolarWinds is working on resolving this issue in a future version.
