Documentation forServer Configuration Monitor
Monitoring server configurations is a key capability of Hybrid Cloud Observability Advanced and is also available in a standalone module, Server Configuration Monitor (SCM). Hybrid Cloud Observability Advanced and SCM are built on the self-hosted SolarWinds Platform.

Configuration Details widget in Server Configuration Monitor (SCM)

This widget shows the current configuration of the node. It lists the last time a change was detected, the last time the node was polled, which profiles are assigned, how many configuration items are being monitored and how many do not match the baseline configuration. The list of profiles can be expanded to see each configuration item in the profile and the last time a change was detected for each.

You can set the shown configuration as the baseline for the node by clicking Set as Baseline at the top of the widget.

If there are problems with data collection, a warning is shown at the top of the widget and next to each profile with a problem. Hover over the warning icon next to the profile to see the details of the problem.
