Network Topology
The NPM Network Topology widget provides a visual representation of existing physical connections between monitored devices on your network.
For any two, directly connected nodes, NodeA
and NodeB
, the resource shows you how they are connected, as follows:

All discovered, physical connections between monitored nodes are listed in this resource. Click Prev X and Next X to page through the list of discovered connections. The value of X is 5
, by default, and it is designated in the Maximum number of items to display field, described below. Click Show all to see a list of all discovered connections at once.
Customize the widget
Click Edit in the title bar, customize the options, and submit your changes. Upon Submit, you will see the updated widget on the view.
Title
Specify the title of the widget.
Subtitle
Specify the subtitle of the widget.
SQL Filters
To limit displayed objects, enter a SQL query into the Filter field. Filters may be applied to the names of source and destination nodes and interfaces. Click Show Filter Examples to view examples of valid filters.
Maximum number of items to display
Designate the number of connections listed within a single view.
Auto-Hide Resource
If Auto-Hide is enabled, this widget is hidden when relevant data is not present in the Orion database.
