Monitoring network performance is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Essentials edition. Network Performance Monitor (NPM) is also available in a standalone module.

Add Node - Define Node

Provide the information required to identify and access the node you are adding to the SolarWinds Platform database for monitoring.

  1. Provide the host name or IP address.
  2. Select the polling method, provide credentials, and click Next.
