Fans

This widget does not appear on the Chassis Details page by default, but you can add it via the Customize Page option in the left menu. To learn about adding widgets, see the SolarWinds Platform Administrator Guide.

The Fans widget lists all currently monitored fans related to a UCS chassis, along with the following information:

• Fan Name

Fans in different chassis modules may have the same name

• Chassis in which the listed fan is installed
• The current operational state of the listed fan

Available actions

• Click the Name button to toggle the alphabetic sorting of fans between ascending and descending.
• To search for fans by name, enter text in the Search field and click Enter.
• Click Edit to change the title or subtitle of the widget.
