ETS for the Web licensing model

ETS for the Web uses a seat-based license. The tools are made accessible from the SolarWinds Platform Web Console. This feature is available only for ETS for the Web. The number of users who can access the application is based on the number of seats purchased per license.

The number of resources you can monitor is not based on the number of seats purchased:

  • Use ETS for the Web as a stand-alone product: Monitor up to ten resources, regardless of the number of seats purchased.

  • Use ETS for the Web with other SolarWinds Platform products: Monitor as many resources as the other product licenses, and an additional 10 resources from the ETS for the Web license.

Each ETS for the Web license key is issued for a certain number of seats. You can obtain your license key from the Customer Portal, and then activate it using the web-based License Manager.

After the license is activated, you must specify which users can access ETS for the Web tools.
