Revert system dashboards back to the default state

Specific dashboards are marked as system dashboards.

System dashboards that you can see in the SolarWinds Platform Web Console are clones of dashboards that contain the default configuration. These are hidden in the UI, users cannot modify or delete them. The real system dashboards can only be added or modified by the Installer or using the import/export functionality.

If a dashboard is marked as a System Dashboard in the Manage Dashboards page, you cannot delete it, but you can:

• Update the system dashboard.

• Revert the updates to the default state. To do so, select the system dashboard and click Restore to original.

• Unlink and customize widgets - all widgets are clones of their counterpart of the default system dashboard. To edit the widgets, you need to unlink them.

• Clone the dashboard.
