Track navigation between tabs

The Web Transaction Recorder supports recordings that switch between multiple tabs. For example, you can create a recording that starts on the Products page of www.solarwinds.com and then switches to the Solutions page when you click that link at the bottom of the page.

As shown here, the Recorded Steps pane displays details about each page as it creates a tab queue in the background. A new option called "Close this tab" appears on the toolbar and a message about the new tab appears.

If you can edit a recording to remove an unnecessary navigation to a tab, WPM removes that tab from the tab queue it created in the background.

Note the following details about tab navigation:

• TCP waterfall charts do not currently support multi-tab pages.
• You can only work in a single tab at a time -- the last tab that was opened.
