Advanced Configuration Settings for UDT

The Device Tracker Advanced Settings page provides information on the advanced settings available for tuning the behavior of SolarWinds UDT.

AD User Update Interval	12 hours	The frequency over which UDT updates Active Directory user information.
SNMP Timeout	5 seconds	How long UDT waits for a response to a single SNMP request.
Port Discovery Job Timeout	10 minutes	How long UDT waits for a Port Discovery Job to complete.
Layer 3 Discovery Job Timeout	120 minutes	How long UDT waits for a Layer 3 discovery job to complete.
Layer 2 Job Timeout	15 minutes	How long UDT waits for a Layer 2 job to complete.
Layer 3 Job Timeout	15 minutes	How long UDT waits for a Layer 3 job to complete.
DNS Job Timeout	30 minutes	How long UDT waits for a DNS job to complete.
DNS Cache Positive TTL	86400 seconds	How long resolved hostnames are cached.
DNS Cache Negative TTL	900 seconds	How long unresolved hostnames are cached.
SNMP Pacing Delay	0 milliseconds	How long UDT waits for between subsequent SNMP requests.
Monitored Port Types	-	Check all the Port Types discoverable by UDT.
Search Results Row Limit	1000	The maximum number of rows per table returned by UDT in the search results page.
MAC-Notification processing interval	120 seconds	The frequency that UDT processes MAC notification traps.
Inventory Pages Request Timeout	60 seconds	The timeout after which UDT cancels requests on Inventory pages.
