UDT 2023.2 release notes

These release notes describe new features, improvements, and fixed issues in User Device Tracker 2023.2. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements in UDT 2023.2

UDT 2023.2 offers improvements and fixed issues compared to previous releases of UDT.

UDT 2023.2 runs on SolarWinds Platform 2023.2. See also the SolarWinds Platform 2023.2 Release Notes.

Device view integration

As of version 2023.2, you can view all the telemetry UDT provides for your interfaces on the NPM Device view.

How to upgrade

Go to Settings > My Deployment to initiate the upgrade. The SolarWinds Installer upgrades your entire SolarWinds Platform deployment (all SolarWinds Platform products and any scalability engines).

You must be on UDT 2020.2.1 or later to upgrade to UDT 2023.2. If you are on UDT 2020.2 or earlier, first upgrade to 2020.2.6 and then upgrade to 2023.2.

As UDT now runs on the SolarWinds Platform, UDT 2023.2 contains all of the fixed issues from the previous SolarWinds Platform releases as well as the new SolarWinds Platform 2023.2 release.
