SCM Installation Guide

SolarWinds strongly recommends that you install the SolarWinds Platform on a server that is neither public, nor internet-facing. To learn about best practices for configuring your SolarWinds Platform installation securely, see Secure Configuration for the SolarWinds Platform.

As a SolarWinds Platform product, Server Configuration Monitor (SCM) uses the SolarWinds Platform Installer for on premises installations. The Orion Installer provides an easy-to-follow installation path for your environment and guides you through product installation. Be sure to check the SCM system requirements before you install.
