Performance Counters

This widget displays all performance counter monitors associated with an application, process, or database monitored by SAM. It appears on the Statistic Details view for many applications. For example, after applying the AppInsight for SQL template to a node, you can navigate to an instance of MSSQLServer and click a statistic link, such as Cache Used/Min, to display a list of SQL Performance Counters.

The list of performance counters displayed changes depending on how you navigate to a view. For example, if you access a view by drilling down from the database level, only counters associated with that database appear. If you access a view by drilling down from the application view, then only the performance counters associated with the application appear.

Click any performance counter in the list to display more information about it in the Performance Counter Details widget.
