Monitoring your applications and environment is a key capability of Hybrid Cloud Observability and is also available in a standalone module, Server & Application Monitor (SAM). Hybrid Cloud Observability and SAM are built on the self-hosted SolarWinds Platform.

Application Availability

This widget provides an overview of application availability for AppInsight for Active Directory.

Available actions

  • Use the Zoom options to change how much time is displayed: 1 hour, 12 hours, or 24 hours.

  • Click Export to open the chart in the Custom Chart page, together with the customization options that you can immediately apply.

  • Click Edit to modify the following parameters:
    • Title and subtitle of the chart
    • Time period, from the last hour to the last 12 months
    • Amount of historical data to load
    • Sample interval, which adjusts the x axis
  • Adjust the timeline beneath the chart to control how much data is displayed.

Ensure you adjust the polling frequency to less than the interval you want displayed in charts. Otherwise, gaps may appear in charts.
