What is an SMTP server?

Your SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) Server is the server you have configured to handle email from your SolarWinds installation. The server you indicate here will be used to direct email messages from installed SolarWinds products to your larger network. For more information, see Simple Mail Transfer Protocol.
