Select objects for Custom Object widget

This topic applies to all SolarWinds Platform products.

When you edit a Custom Object widget, you need to select objects that provide data for the widget.

  1. In the Group By field, select an object grouping criterion.

    2. Defined custom properties are listed for all grouping types.

  2. Select objects (either a group, or expand a group and select individual child objects), and click the green arrow to move the objects into the selected objects pane on the right.
  3. Click Submit.

The selected objects and options relevant for them will now appear on the Edit Custom Object widget page.
