Search for Nodes
This topic applies to all SolarWinds Platform products.
Search for monitored nodes using any of the following database fields as criteria:
- Universal Device Poller Name
- Contact
- Description
- DNS
- IOS Image
- IOS Version
- IP Address
- Location
- Machine Type
- Node Name
- Status
- Vendor
Enter a search string and click Search to query the SolarWinds Platform database for a list of matching nodes.
You can use the wildcards (*, ?), as follows:Cisco*, 10.15.*.*, W?ndows, Server-*, *.SolarWinds.Net
Each node is listed by name with an administrative status icon.
Available action
- Click a node name to open the Details page for the selected node, providing extensive diagnostic information.
