Core Network Topology

The Core Network Topology widget provides a visual representation of existing physical connections between monitored devices on your network.

For any two directly connected nodes, the Core Network Topology resource displays how they are connected.

In this example, NodeA is connected to NodeB.

All discovered, physical connections between monitored nodes are listed in this resource. Click Prev X and Next X to page through the list of discovered connections. The value of X is 5, by default, and it is designated in the Maximum number of items to display field, described below. Click Show all to see a list of all discovered connections at once.

Available actions

  • Click Edit to change the Title and Subtitle .
  • Edit the Maximum number of items to display field to change the number of connections listed in this widget.
  • To limit displayed objects, enter a SQL query into the Filter field.
  • Use the Auto-Hide Resource option to designate whether you want to hide the widget when there are no defined dependencies in the SolarWinds Platform database to display.
