Manage Cloud Instance/VM as Node

This widget appears on the Cloud Instance/VM Details page if an AWS instance or Azure VM is currently being managed as a node in the SolarWinds Platform and cloud service APIs are only monitoring for basic metrics.
You can manage an instance/VM as an Orion node using an agent (Linux or Windows), WMI, or SNMP to utilize the full capabilities of the Orion tools, including monitoring applications plus detailed server and OS metrics.
After configuring a cloud instance or VM as a managed node, the instance or VM appears in this widget after the next poll occurs.
The title and contents of cloud-based widgets depend on whether an AWS instance or Azure VM is selected.
