Add Node - Define Node

Provide the information to identify and access the node you are adding to the SolarWinds Platform database for monitoring.

Define node properties

1. Provide the host name or IP Address.
2. If the IP address is dynamically assigned, select Dynamic IP Address.
3. Select the polling method, provide credentials, and click Next.

   If a device, such as a UCS controller, requires special credentials, select the additional monitoring option, and provide the credentials.
