Public status page
The Public Status Page displays the status of your website and URI entities that are observed with SolarWinds Observability.
You can use the Public status page to quickly share website and URI statues with stakeholders outside of your SolarWinds Observability organization.
Status pages give you visibility into the current health of your organization's systems. Use the Status page to keep your customers informed of status changes, reduce the volume of support tickets, and build trust through transparency.
Click Digital Experience > Public Status Page to open the Public Status page. The Public Status page is blank by default. See Add a Public Status page for setup instructions.
Who can use the Public Status page?
SolarWinds Observability Administrators and Owners can create, modify, and delete Public Status pages. SolarWinds Observability Organization members and viewers can only view the status of Public Status pages.
Configure Public Status page options
Once the page is configured, view entity details such as the entity's name, type, and when the entity was added to the Public Status page. Click an entity name to open the Entity Explorer view for your selection.
The URL of the Public Status page is displayed at the top of the page. Click the link to copy it to your clipboard and share it with outside stakeholders.
You can also modify the visibility of the Public Status page to outside stakeholders and add more entities to the page.
View Public Status page metrics
The Public Status page displays availability metrics for the website and URI entities you have visible. View the service status for each monitored entity (operating normally, disruption, outage, no data available) for the last seven days. Hover over an entity's graph to get specific availability data for the given date, and the amount of time in hours that the entity was in each status (Up, Down, In Maintenance, Paused, or Unknown).
By default, each entity is minimized. Click the right chevron by the entity to display the Average Response time graph. The Average Response time graph displays the average response time in milliseconds for the last seven days.
