Add a UDP Port check

Check the availability of the desired hostname and a specified port.

1. In SolarWinds Observability SaaS, click Add Data at the top.

2. In the Add Data dialog Intro, click Monitor my website.

3. Click UDP Port.

4. Enter the IP/Domain address and the port number. Note that the IP or Domain address automatically fills in the name field.

5. Enter the string you want to send.

6. Enter the string you expect to receive.

7. Click Add Tags to add any tags to your Page Speed check. Enter a tag key and value, and then click Add Tag. Repeat this step as necessary for any tags you want to add. Click Next.

   The Add tags step is optional.

8. Select a location category to test from: Regions, Countries, or Cities.

9. Select the UDP Port check location(s).

10. Select the test interval.

11. Select the Outage Configuration.

    1. Select Default to use the default outage settings. In the default outage settings, the URI is considered down if all test locations are down for 2 consecutive test intervals.

    2. Click Custom to configure custom outage settings.

    The Outage Configuration step is optional. If you do not choose a custom outage configuration, the default configuration is used.

12. Click Next.

13. Review the test summary. Click Add URI.
