Node Inventory Settings

Check each object for which current values will be recorded in the NCM database.

Use the slider to select the number (1-100) of devices that should be inventoried concurrently.

If you have VLANs extended across network trunks, and you want to inventory the relevant devices, you can check Extend VLANs inventory. However, this is not recommend due to the slow performance of the inventory process under in this situation.

You can select Disable inventory lookup if the inventory process causes the NCM server to hang or if the process takes too long. You would then need to analyze the cause of the problem (for example, server capacity) before deselecting this option.

Click Submit when you have made your selections.
