Configure NCM email notifications
SMTP server credentials used to send notifications for config change approvals, real time change detection, and running jobs
- Click Settings > All Settings.
- Under Product Specific Settings, click NCM Settings.
- Under Manage Notifications, click SMTP Server.
- Enter the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the server in Email Server Address.
- Enter the Port Number on which the server handles messages.
- Select an Authentication type.
- If you selected Password as your Authentication type, enter a user name and password that the server accepts.
- Click Submit.
Email notification defaults used in new scheduled jobs
- Click Settings > All Settings.
- Under Product Specific Settings, click NCM Settings.
- Under Manage Notifications, click Email Notification.
- Enter in Sender Name the name you want to appear in a job completion notification.
- Enter a Reply Address if desired.
- Enter the Subject to be used to send a job completion notification.
- Enter recipients in the To field.
- Click Submit.
