Manage Microsoft DHCP with Mobile Admin

This section provides information about how to use the Mobile Admin Client to manage Microsoft Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) servers.

The procedures in this section assume that you are logged in to Mobile Admin and have selected a DHCP server to manage from your host list. If Mobile Admin is running on 64-bit hardware and you want to manage DHCP on the Mobile Admin server, you will need to enable the "Server has DHCP" setting in the Server Properties for the Mobile Admin server.

Detection

DHCP is detected on a server if a successful connection to the DHCP service can be made.

Authentication

The Mobile Admin login credentials are used when managing DHCP.
