Kiwi CatTools 3.12 Release Notes

These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in Kiwi CatTools 3.12. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements

Kiwi CatTools 3.12 offers new features and improvements compared to previous versions of Kiwi CatTools.

Compatibility updates

Kiwi CatTools now offers updated device support for iOS and NEXUS switches, Cisco firewalls, and Alcatel. See fixed issues below for more details.

HP Aruba backups

Users can now perform a backup of HP Aruba switches.

Signed files

Some files that were previously unsigned in the previous version of Kiwi CatTools are now signed with the latest SolarWinds certificate.

KCT 3.12 fixes the following issues.

00701812 Users are now able to backup Alcatel omniswitch devices.
00753422, 00285745 Users are now able to enter enable mode or create a backup with Cisco ASA devices.
00747198 NSSM and KCT services are no longer blocked by the firewall due to digital signatures.
00841997, 00764587, 00760299, 00817782, 00865383 The Report.Version table now runs successfully for Cisco swiches with IOS XE 17.x versions.
00814963 User is are now able to enter the extended config mode on Cisco devices.
00818301 Userd are now able to save a configuration and reports for HP Aruba switches.
00866828 The Report.Error table now runs successfully for C9332 Nexus switches.
