View the SNMP Tree
The SNMP Tree allows you to explore your MIB database and create an SNMP monitor for a specific leaf in the tree. It provides a database of common MIBs that were precompiled into ipMonitor. Using the tree, you can configure the QA SNMP and SNMP trap monitors, as well as the SNMP trap alert.
The MIB database is arranged in a tree structure with logical groupings represented by expandable branches, as shown below. To access the SNMP Tree, click Configuration > SNMP Tree.
Click a link or expand a selection to view the specific details of a leaf. For example, if you expand the directory options and then select a leaf, you can obtain additional details, including an OID and description.
After you locate what you want to monitor, click SNMP Wizard at the bottom of the window to create the SNMP monitor.
