Dameware Remote Everywhere Installation Guide

SolarWinds recommends reviewing the Dameware Remote Everywhere release notes and system requirements before installation.

Dameware Remote Everywhere is a cloud product that consists of the Admin Area, which can be accessed from the browser, and its downloaded components: the Agent, Applet, and Console. The Admin Area can be accessed immediately, but the other components must be installed.

Dameware Remote Everywhere hosts user data in secure AWS servers located in Virginia (United States) and Germany.

Access the Dameware Remote Everywhere Admin Area:

  1. Navigate to the Dameware Remote Everywhere online portal.
  2. Click Start Free Trial and fill out the form.
  3. After this is complete and you are approved, log in with your credentials.
  4. Navigate to the Admin Area to start your trial and download components.

Download the Agent, Applet, or Console:

  1. Navigate to the Admin Area.
  2. Click on Downloads.
  3. Choose the Applet, Agent, or Console to download and select your operating system.
  4. Proceed with the corresponding component's Setup Wizard and your product will finish installing.

Uninstall Dameware Remote Everywhere

You can uninstall the Dameware Remote Everywhere Tech Console using the same uninstall method for other programs or applications on your Windows or macOS computer. The Admin Area cannot be uninstalled since it is accessed in a browser.

To uninstall the Tech Console on a Windows computer:

  1. Open the Control Panel on your Windows OS.
  2. Navigate to Programs > Programs and Features.
  3. Select the Dameware Remote Everywhere Console program.
  4. Right-click and select Uninstall.

To uninstall the Tech Console on your macOS computer:

  1. Open Finder on your macOS.
  2. Navigate to Applications.
  3. Select the Dameware Remote Everywhere Console program.
  4. Right-click and select Move to Trash.
  5. Navigate to Trash and click Empty in the upper right-hand corner.
