Manage Users

Add users and manage their access to your organization and its data in settings. In Avior, click Settings > Users.

Invite users to Avior

After you complete onboarding, you can invite other users to your Avior organization.

  1. In Avior, click Settings > Users.

  2. Click Invite user.

  3. Enter one or more email addresses.

  4. Select a user role:

    • Owner: Has full control of the organization, including billing and ownership. The user who creates the organization is automatically the Owner. The Owner can run goals and approve actions.

    • Admin: Manages users, data sources, and configuration, but can't change billing or delete the organization. Admins can run goals and approve actions.

    • Member: Uses Avior day to day: can access chat sessions and view data, including queries that can be used to build dashboards and create alerts. Can't change organization settings, manage users, approve actions, or run goals.

  5. Click Invite.

Each invited user receives an email invitation.

You can monitor the status of invites on the Pending invites tab. From here, you can also resend or revoke the invitation.

View a user's details

  1. In Avior, click Settings > Users.

  2. On the Active Users tab, you can see user details, such as email address, organization role, and last login date.

Last login is the last time the user entered login credentials. This is not the last time the user accessed Avior for the current organization. Last login is influenced by the expiration date determined by your organization. The default expiration period is 14 days. For more information, see Set session expiration.

Edit a user's access to the organization

A user's role defines the access users have to the organization’s settings and Avior resources.

  1. In Avior, click Settings > Users.

  2. Click the vertical ellipsis at the end of the user's row and select Edit.

  3. In the Edit User window, select an organization role and save your changes. See User roles and access levels.

Organizations require at least one Organization Owner. If there is only one Organization owner left, you cannot modify their Organization Role.

Remove a user from your organization

  1. In Avior, click Settings > Users.

  2. Click the vertical ellipsis at the end of the user's row and select Remove.

You cannot remove yourself from the organization. To leave an organization, ask your Organization owner or admin to remove you from the organization or contact support. See https://support.solarwinds.com/working-with-support.

  3. Confirm the removal.

The user receives an email informing them that they no longer can access the organization.
