If you want to keep records of custom properties for selected monitored nodes, you can export them as a spreadsheet. For example, you can create a single spreadsheet that lists the asset tags of all your network nodes.

You can only select custom properties for a single entity type.

Export Custom properties in the modern Manage custom properties view

  1. Log in to the SolarWinds Platform Web Console as an administrator.

  2. Click Settings > All Settings in the menu bar.

  3. In the Node & Group Management grouping, click Manage Custom Properties.

  4. Select a custom property for the entity to export (for example for nodes), and click Export.

  5. In Step 1, all monitored nodes are selected. Click Edit to change the selection.

  6. In Step 2, select the custom properties to export. Use filters and search options to find the custom properties more easily.

  7. In Step 3, you can change the file format of the exported file. By default, .CSV is selected.

  8. Click Export. The selected details are exported.
