ETS 2023.1 release notes

These release notes describe fixed issues in Engineer's Toolset for the Web 2023.1. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

Improvements in ETS
Compatibility improved with the SolarWinds Platform
This release is a compatibility update for Engineer's Toolset for the Web. Engineer's Toolset for the Web is part of the SolarWinds Platform and can be used alongside other SolarWinds Platform products. This release improves compatibility with newer versions of the SolarWinds Platform.

New customer installation
For information about installing Engineer's Toolset, see the ETS Installation Guide. After installation, use the ETS Getting Started Guide to get started fast.
How to upgrade
To upgrade Engineer's Toolset for the Web, use the SolarWinds Platform installer.
If you are upgrading Engineer's Toolset for the Web, you must be on ETS 2020.2.1 or later to upgrade to ETS 2023.1. If you are on ETS 2019.4 or earlier, first upgrade to 2020.2.6 and then upgrade to 2023.1.
Fixed issues
ETS for the Web 2023.1 contains all of the fixed issues from the SolarWinds Platform 2023.1 release.

Deprecation notice
This version of Engineer's Toolset for the Web deprecates the following platforms and features.
Deprecated platforms and features are still supported in the current release. However, they will be unsupported in a future release. Plan on upgrading deprecated platforms, and avoid using deprecated features.
