Known issues

Configuration wizard doesn't complete on SQL Server 2012 due to unsupported statement

Issue: UDT 2020.2.6 uses an unsupported statement DROP VIEW IF EXISTS UDT_UserInventory_Results for Microsoft SQL Server 2012.

Resolution/Work-around:

  1. Manually update C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\UDT\UDTDatabaseScheme.dbConfig to reflect support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
  2. Replace DROP VIEW IF EXISTS UDT_UserInventory_Results with IF EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.views WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID(N'[dbo].[UDT_UserInventory_Results]'))

    DROP VIEW [dbo].[UDT_UserInventory_Results]
    .
  3. Re-run the Configuration wizard.

SolarWinds is working on addressing this issue as soon as possible.
