These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in VoIP and Network Quality Manager 2020.2. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements in VNQM 2020.2
VNQM 2020.2 offers the following new features and improvements compared to previous releases of VNQM.
IP SLA monitoring on Cisco Nexus devices
VNQM now supports IP SLA monitoring on Cisco© Nexus devices, NX-OS-based, highly programmable, high-density switches. Cisco Nexus devices can be added to VNQM through the Add Nodes to VoIP and Network Quality Manager wizard.

New customer installation

How to upgrade
Use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade your entire Orion deployment (all Orion Platform products and any scalability engines) to the current versions.
If you are upgrading from VNQM 4.6, you can upgrade your entire Orion deployment from the My Orion Deployment page. Downloading the Orion Installer is no longer necessary.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use this topic to plan and implement an upgrade to the current version of VNQM.
VNQM 2020.2 fixes the following issues.
|Cisco CUBE routers show all statistics for SIP trunks.|
|SIP Trunks are stated on the gateway and listed in the Orion Web Console.|
|Issues with getting CDR & SIP monitoring working in VNQM no longer occur.|
|All maps are loading without issues.|
|VNQM is able to pull information from a VoIP gateway.|
|SIP trunks no longer show the message
|Network Atlas is working.|

End-of-Life (EoL) announcement - Customers on VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2 should begin transitioning to the latest version of VoIP & Network Quality Manager.
March 4, 2019:
End-of-Engineering (EoE) - Service releases, bug fixes, workarounds, and service packs for VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2 will no longer be supported by SolarWinds.
March 4, 2020:
End-of-Life - SolarWinds will no longer provide technical support for VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2.
