Import and deploy the collector on Microsoft Hyper-V

1. Open Windows Hyper-V Manager.
2. Right-click the Hyper-V host and select New > Virtual Machine.
3. Enter a name for the virtual machine, and then click Next.

   

4. On the Specify Generation tab, select Generation 1, and then click Next.

   

   Do not use Generation 2 with a VHD file.

5. On the Assign Memory tab, enter the amount of memory to allocate to the virtual machine, and then click Next.

   

6. On the Configure Networking tab, select an option, and then click Next.
7. On the Connect Virtual Hard Disk tab, select Use an existing virtual hard disk, connect the provided VHD collector image as the disk image, and then click Next.

   

8. Review the summary, and then click Finish.
