New features and improvements
SRM 2020.2.6 is a service release, and runs on Orion Platform 2020.2.6. See Orion Platform 2020.2.6 release notes.
- SRM 2020.2.6 no longer uses Microsoft Message Queueing (MSMQ).
Orion Platform 2020.2.6 includes updated password policies that impact individual Orion accounts. After you upgrade to 2020.2.6, all passwords for individual Orion accounts will expire in 30 days.
New customer installation
To install SRM using the SolarWinds Orion Installer, see the SolarWinds Orion Installer, and refer to the SRM Getting Started Guide to learn about configuring and customizing SRM.
How to upgrade
Use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade your entire Orion deployment (all Orion Platform products and any scalability engines).
You can upgrade your entire Orion deployment, including the main server and all Orion Platform products, from the My Deployment page. Downloading the SolarWinds Installer for future upgrades is no longer necessary.
