Visitor insights collects all valuable data for finding performance issues with your site. Setting it up is easy, but it's also the only product in Pingdom where you have to make a change to your site. A really small one.
Here you'll see how easy it is to set up and get it working in Google Tag Manager:
1. Go to Visitor Insights in My Pingdom
Click on ‘Add Site‘ in the top right-hand corner.
If you plan to add a lot of sites, make sure you choose a name that explains it well. Our auto-suggestion will try to help you out!
You can implement it directly into your site or through your tag management system, like Google Tag Manager. If you're implementing it directly, don't forget to do so right before the </body> tag of your site.
Within seconds you'll see your site visitor data appear in your Visitor Insights dashboard in My Pingdom.
