Export SolarWinds Platform reports from Report Writer
This topic applies to all SolarWinds Platform products except for the following products:
ETS — LA — WPM
In Orion Platform 2020.2.6, the Report Writer tool is removed from the SolarWinds Platform. Migrate the reports to the web and use the web-based reports.
Report Writer provides an export menu that enables you to save your report in all formats listed in Export and import reports in the SolarWinds Platform except XML. To export to XML, you need to use the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.
- Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Alerting, Reporting and Mapping > Orion Report Writer.
- Click the report you want to export.
- Click File > Export.
- Click the required file format.
- Type a name for the exported file.
- Click Save.
